Preprinted Stocking Batting

I really liked that I had a nice stocking shape. This batting is a blend. When I pressed my strips which were 100% cotton, it was very easy to melt the batting. This was not a good combination for batting. Years ago, I did lots of strip quilting and never had this problem. I believe my batting was all cotton.
