While away the hours stitching up a lovely wreath pattern using the simplest quilt blocks. This design is constructed using a combination of hourglass blocks and squares with snowballed corners. It's really that easy! Use your favorite fabrics to create a special design for any time of the year. Begin with one package of 10" print squares along with one package of 10" background squares, add 1 1/2 yards each for sashing and borders and you're set!

Finished size: 77" x 93"

Poorly written pattern

I was so disappointed when I lost most of the points on the hourglass units.

Pattern doesn’t explain when to square up!

Otherwise it’s a very pretty pattern

Hourglass Quilt pattern

I saw the finished quilt on display in Hamilton and thought it would be fun to make. It is easy and quick and the results (of the top, not yet quilted) are great. I'll finish it and give to someone who loves the bright colors.

Easy and great looking

This is an great pattern. Easy to follow instructions and the block goes together quickly. I’m using a Free Spirit layer cake with William and Morris fabrics. I love it!
