Uh oh, a spool is unraveling! Refresh and try again.
Description:

In The Groove combines green, orange, blue, white, and black fabrics from the Delight collection in a 51-inch-square quilt. John Kubiniec's design places pieced triangle blocks and floral-print squares in diagonal rows, separated by white sashing. Black setting triangles and small black sashing tips frame the arrangement. The instructions cover making the triangle units, combining them into larger blocks, and aligning the white strips when the diagonal rows are joined.

  1. Cut the print squares, white sashing, and black side and corner triangles. Mark the diagonals on the squares used for the paired triangle units.
  2. Sew the paired squares on both sides of the marked lines, cut them apart, and trim the half-square triangles. Combine the units into the green and orange blocks shown.
  3. Arrange the pieced blocks, floral squares, sashing, and setting triangles in diagonal rows. Add the black tips to the long white sashing and align the strips as the rows are joined.
  4. Press the completed top, layer it with batting and backing, and quilt. Finish the edges with the chosen black binding fabric.
