Oh dear

I knew ahead of time that I’d need to enlarge the pattern, of which I am not a fan but I was willing to do it. Then, the Vermont flood happened and any local place that could have enlarged it is currently out of business. So…my #4 rating instead of a #5 has nothing to do with you…just circumstances beyond the control of anyone!

Disappointing

I love the concept of this bag & looked forward to having the patternn. The pattern itself is the size of a toddler book. The instructions, in an effort to fit on one page of the small book, are hard to understand & not user-friendly. The "pattern pieces" are about 3"-5" & this is supposedly a plus so you can make the bag whatever size you want. I was disappointed MS would sell something like this.

A waste of money - you won't get a bag template unless you buy the PDF version instead of the paper version that is sold here.

The dimensions for this bag can be found for free on any YouTube video for the Japanese Knot bag- it was the idea that this pattern did indeed have a full-size pattern to use that enticed me to buy it. So - consider it a waste of $6 if you spend your money on it here for the paper pattern. Save your $6 and buy fabric here and then watch a good YouTube video for the bag construction and measurements.

Disappointed in the “Pattern”

The “pattern” turned out to be a 1/4 size template that had to be enlarged. My printer doesn’t do that so I took it to a FedEx shop and it would have cost twice again what the pattern cost me. I will probably get out graph paper and enlarge it the old fashioned way. But I shouldn’t have to. Very disappointing.

Bummer

I thought I was getting an actual ready to use pattern not a piece of paper I will need to go get copied to fit. This is very disappointing.

Disappointed

Love the pattern but very disappointed that I had to go have it enlarged. I expected a pattern full size. The UPS store can't ever do it. I have to take it somewhere which is 20 miles away to have it enlarged. Plus came in high box. Could have been put in brown envelope for under $1.

Searched a long time

I searched a long time to find a Japanese knot bag pattern. Was disappointed to order this "pattern " and discover it was just a card board set of directions. The pattern included is a small diagram in the card which needs to be reproduced at 400% or down load on the computer on multiple sheets and tape together. I guess I am old school where I expect a pattern to actually be a pattern full scale and ready to use.
