- Cut and interface the outer bag and gusset pieces, then sew the body and gussets together. Fold and topstitch the handles and construct the scalloped flap pieces from the template.
- Join the handles, flaps and band pieces as directed. Gather the bag's upper edges to fit the band and sew them together.
- Sew the lining and its gussets, attach it at the bag's gusset openings, then gather and hand-stitch the lining beneath the band. Add Velcro or a snap to close the bag.
