Jurassic Party Free Quilt Pattern by Stacey Day
Jurassic Party mixes dinosaur-print features with pieced plus blocks and two sizes of sashing unit. Roar! fabrics supply both the focal prints and the smaller pieces, with fat quarters used alongside yardage in the material list. The advanced beginner quilt finishes at 82 x 100 inches. Alternating column arrangements organize the center, and inner borders followed by a mitered outer border enclose the patchwork while preserving the direction of the surrounding print.

Jurassic Party Free Quilt Pattern by Stacey Day quilt pattern summary
- Fussy-cut the dinosaur features and border pieces, then cut the plus-block and sashing components. Keep the different sashing sizes labeled so their orientations remain clear.
- Piece the twenty plus blocks and assemble the small and large sashing units. Follow the fabric pairings and check the rectangular units before arranging the columns.
- Join the block and sashing columns to complete the center. Add the inner borders, then attach the outer border and sew its mitered corners.
- Prepare the binding, then layer the top with batting and backing. Baste and quilt, trim the excess layers, and attach the binding to finish the quilt.
