- Cut three horizontal animal-panel rows, keeping the specified dot-print margins around them. Sew word-print strips above and below two of the panel rows.
- Join the two prepared sections above and below the remaining panel row. Attach the wider yellow borders and then the narrow striped borders, trimming their ends even.
- Layer the top with batting and backing and quilt as desired. Sew on the binding and finish it with hand stitching.
