Lightning Strikes Twice Free Quilt Pattern by Julie Kentner
Lightning Strikes Twice combines paired triangles into large blocks, using their orientation to carry zigzag shapes across the quilt. Each block contains nine triangle units arranged in three rows, with the finished blocks set in five rows of four. Julie Kentner designed this advanced-beginner quilt using Archives fabrics by Kaffe Fassett. It finishes at 72 by 90 inches, with eighteen-inch finished blocks and cutting diagrams that account for the direction of striped prints.
