Lodden Stars Free Quilt Pattern by Lucy A. Fazely
Lodden Stars layers small, medium and large star units into two block arrangements, then alternates them across a three-by-three quilt center. Lucy A. Fazely designed the advanced-beginner project with Lodden and Trellis Palette fabrics by Morris & Co. Directional cutting keeps the prints oriented through the triangle units, and striped fabric repeats in the surrounding borders. Nine sixteen-inch finished blocks and six border rounds create a quilt that finishes at sixty inches square.
