Log Cabin Block Free Pattern by Kerri Thomson - Free Quilt Pattern
Log Cabin Block builds outward from a small center square, adding rectangular strips in a counterclockwise sequence. Kerri Thomson designed the twelve-inch finished block for the 25th Anniversary Collection and rated it for advanced beginners. The strips change width as the block grows, with lettered cutting dimensions and intermediate measurements helping track each round. A coloring page provides room to plan the fabric placement, while the instructions direct the seam allowances away from the center.
