Super idea!
Most of us who work with 2.5" pre-cuts find we will need to cut some other yardage 2.5" to finish the project. This ruler has saved me a ton of time and measuring by being exactly that width. It isn't quite thick enough to keep from snapping into pieces with just slight pressure on one end. Fortunately, I learned I can glue it back together with acrylic nail repair glue, but now I'm very careful with it. I wish it were slightly thicker but I've used it many times in the short time I've had it.
