very high twist

Recommend using a thread net over the cone to prevent the thread from twisting over itself as it leaves the spool. This thread has a very high twist causing it to easily twist onto itself before entering the upper tension discs. This resulted in tension issues and jamming . I use a thread stand designed for spools since my machine does not have the capacity to hold this type of spool. To resolve I used a thread net over the spool which put slight tension around the spool allowing the thread to run cleanly through the upper tension discs. This doesn't feel and behave like cotton thread, the fibers are short and shred into miniscule fibers which I discovered as I ripped out seams. My machine is a Janome over 40 years old and has no problems with Aurifil 50 wt thread, so this was a bit of a disappointment.

Useful with lots of different color fabrics

I use variations of gray thread to blend in with a variety of colored fabrics. With thread harder to buy locally, I find that using shades of gray plus white and black does the trick.
