Missouri Star Favorite Things, Embroidered Charms Kit by Missouri Star Quilt Co.

This kit totally lived up to my high expectations. Really cute designs, everything you need except for fabric, all prettily packaged. The embroidery is straightforward and very relaxing to do, yet very effective and charming. The little templates wash away completely leaving the stitching. Very addictive.

I have this kit. Misty did an amazing job in designing this product. It is well worth the price. I absolutely love the way that the perle cotton feeds through the grommets in the removable bag. The bag is very well-made and sturdy. The book is extremely nice as are the scissors and a very pretty needle minder was included. Nice organization of the parts and pieces. Only disappointment is the instructions tell you to refer to the stitch cards for instruction, however there are NO cards included. There is no “stitch guide” telling you what stitch to use for each line. You just have a color chart and you choose your own stitch.

I love when MSQC puts- “kits” together and even better when it’s done so it’s just that project in a totes/trapper keeper. My only wish is there would have been something to hold the notebook of embroidery pictures in the trapper keeper - next version ?

This kit was a great value, I especially love the plastic thread holder that keeps your threads tidy, the hole for each skein is wonderful. Wish it had a zipper around the case so I could carry other projects as well.

Arrived very quickly. I agree with others putting cottons on their side facilitates easier movement unraveling thread, holder with grommets fantastic idea. The scissors are far superior to scissors in other MSQC embroidery kits I’ve had . The hoop had quite a rough edge requiring sanding , fine after that. The embroidery motifs don’t always adhere to fabric and if can’t be secured in hoop a pin helped. Overall I’m really pleased with kit and case.

I’m excited to start this project. However I’m a little disappointed that they did not include stitch instructions. Colors are suggested, but not stitch type. Also they state you can download the designs from your account, but I’m not able to find them. I wish there was more information included

I loved the idea of the thread organizer. Maybe it’s me, but the execution of pulling the fully loaded balls of thread through the grommets is not always a smooth process. The 5 inch hoops are very travel friendly however they do take a little more finesse to handle. Maybe it’s my not so small hands. I would suggest the novice hand embroider start with a larger 10 inch hoop size and ease into the smaller 5 inch hoop as to reduce frustration. The pattern is highly recommended. Overall, an...

I am very pleased with the quality of the kit. I am finishing up a project and then I will start using the kit I received.

This is a cute kit and has all you need to embroider the designs in the book. Love the stick on line drawings and color suggestions in the book. Two things aren’t quite as described. The book says you can download the embroidery designs from your account. It also included a link to the designs. They are not in your account downloads folder and the URL doesn’t work. Customer service was able to email the file to me. The container for the Pearl cotton doesn’t account for how the thread comes off...
