My favorite batting for quilting

The Best Blend batting has a great drape and nice loft without being puffy. I used it for my quilting projects. I had it longarmed. It performed very well, and it's become my favorite.

Perfect for mantel runners

I am making mantel runners for my son-in-law for Christmas. They cannot be wider than 10 inches but 100 inches long, and this batting is perfect. It is very nice.

I like the quality and it’s easy to work with. It doesn’t pull apart like some others I have used. It is also easy to piece excess pieces together for smaller projects. I'm using it for mini quilts, coasters, table toppers, and strips for making rugs.

Love this batting

Missouri Star's own Best Blend Batting is great stuff - it's soft and strong and provides a nice low-loft finish to a snuggly, warm quilt. It compares favorably to Quilter's Select blend battings, often at a lower price. Recommended!

It's easy to work with, and I like that it has a low loft. I used it for a variety of small projects and still have some left for more table runners. It's great for runners as it lays flat on the table.

Great batting for quilting

I've just switched to this batting and it's great to use. I make them to sell! It’s easy to quilt with and I don’t have high and low spots. The pricing and shipping costs made me switch. I use it for making quilts. 20.

Great for larger quilts

I can quilt my projects on my larger throat Janome and not worry about bunching up on the back side. It has about 5 stitches per inch. I use it for twin-full size quilts, table runners, and wall hangings. It lays nicely between the top and backing for the larger quilts.

Perfect for hand quilting

I hand quilt and my needle goes through this batting very easily. It is the only batting I use. I also like the weight of the batting.

Best Blend is my new go-to batting

The Quilters Best Blend batting is soft, doesn't fall apart, and quilts beautifully. I have used Hobbs 80/20 for over 20 years, and Best Blend handles better, drapes perfectly, and sews with no problem. It has taken first place over my usual favorite brand and is now my go-to batting. Best Blend performs so well on large or small quilts. It comes in different sizes, which means I can use it for any quilt I'm working on. I see and quilt daily. I have a long arm for finishing the quilts myself. I...
