After using a green cutting mat for decades, I really appreciate this light gray mat. It is easy on my eyes. The measurements are clear and easy to read and the light gray makes it easy to see both light and dark fabrics. It is also 2 sided and the sale price was a pleasant surprise.

Name is incorrect

Self healing mat does not self heal works for only a while. Had to buy another mat because it stopped Working. Left grooves so wouldn’t cut.

Excellent Cutting Mats

I really like these mats. I have a very long cutting surface and purchased two mats and placed them side-by-side. They are so much nicer than the cutting mat I was previously using and is very obviously self-healing. I have cut several fabrics on the mats and cannot tell where I have cut.

My bundle order which included the cutting mat was mailed in a box large enough to hold the mat but was about five times taller than necessary and only had minimal stuffed paper to keep things in place. The box was severely damaged and had actually been split. The postman was pretty upset at how it was packed. My suggestion is that if you are going to offer items like this mat please consider shipping in something more appropriate in depth. I am happy with the mat, not so much with how it was...

Yeah!!!

After having the same green cutting mat for 30 years, I finally broke down and bought the mat. WHAT?!?!? You say? Yes my green mat had no measuring lines on it, was badly scored, cracked, what a mess. I went to Missouri Star this spring and told myself this was the one big purchase I was allowed. OH, I am so happy I did. This has made life so much easier. I guess my mom was right: You don't know how bad it was until it gets better.
