Fast, beautiful quilt top

Easy to see, looks impressive

Goes together very quickly!

I just finished the top this week. I'm giving it to my son this summer when he retires after 20 years in the Coast Guard. The top goes together very quickly, and the fabrics are beautiful. The only issue I had was after cutting the red/cream stripe area, I must have cut it too short. After I cut the sashing strip the 2.5", I realized it wouldn't be wide enough. So my recommendation is to measure how much you need before cutting! I had to add a piece of my own fabric to complete it, and the...

Love this!

I made two of these to present as Quilts of Valor from the tutorial a couple of years ago. They turned out great, so I was excited to see the kit with everything ready to put together for a quilt to hang up for Independence Day this year. Really nice fabrics!

A quick easy kit.

Stars and stripes

Reading over pattern directions before starting. A better descripton of colors to use might help. Both red & blue in the pattern, either fo which could be considered 'the dark ' fabric. Feel I need to cut up paper pattern to practice the directions as in places, they seem vague.
