Mystery Block of the Month Kit by Missouri Star Quilt Co.

I have been adding mystery blocks to my collection of future products. All of them that I have received appear to be of excellent quality. I love creating new things and getting creative with patterns. I’m still working on the puzzle quilt and have decided to make it a king size quilt, so I am working on finishing the border strips and putting it together. I also have to bind the previous quilt. After that, I’m hoping to get into smaller projects, so we’ll see what I decide to do with them. I...

I love the surprise and seeing parts of quilt kits that I may have not selected on my own. So far, I have purchased one complete pattern (Laundry Basket Winter Village) and one complete quilt kit (Teapots Quilt Kit) based on receiving one block from the mystery quilt block. I can’t wait to get another mystery quilt BOM. It gives me practice in methods I want to use in putting the quilt kit together. I digitized the block using my Bernina software. Some stitches I liked and some not so much, so...

So far I have ordered 3. And all are different. I love the fabrics and patterns. These are an inexpensive way to make blocks, then make more and make a wall hanging or just about anything!

Product themselves, fantastic. I've ordered several due to this and all have been a little different with great quality pieces. Last week I ordered again based on that experience but this time they were all the same block, no variation.

I enjoy receiving the mystery block of the month packets as I order them frequently. I love the challenge that they provide me because I use them as inspiration and focus blocks for wall hangings and table runners that I would not have created otherwise.

I have ordered and received 3 and have 3 more on the way. I have ordered them for the specific purpose of practicing my quilting by hand, in the hoop on my embroidery machine and free motion on both my Husqvarna Viking machines, the Opal and Topaz. Knowing this going into it there can be NO disappointment and everything is usable. So going into it I can honestly say I personally love them all. If I don't use some of the material then I cut and sew then into my scrappy square quilt. Once I have...

Loved the one i received! Great for a wall hanging or further inspiration

I received the Hearth and Home Month 7 BOM that I think is from 2018...a Toby Lischo block of the month. I can't even find any other information about this older BOM on the internet. I did receive 7 different fabrics with 4 of them being fat eighths, 2 fat quarters and some yardage to make the block and some other tidbits that were to be used in future BOM for this set. Total fabric was a little over 3 yards which wound up being $3.33 a yard. The fabric is good quality and a blue/yellow/gold...

I absolutely love the mystery block of the month! I have ordered 3, and they are all beautiful. Some I will make the block, some I will use the fabric for something else. It's fun to get fabric that you didn't pick yourself. It takes me out of my "comfort zone",

I ordered several of these and I'm pleased by the variety. The ones I received look like I can incorporate them into the same quilt. One has precut applique pieces, others have interesting fabric to create blocks. One was a bit confusing but the fabric will be useful. It looks to be fabric for sashing the entire quilt. However, the pattern with it will work with items in my stash. These will make a great winter project. The price is worth the risk and I'm happy with what I received.
