Nice Project

This turned out beautifully, and I will make another! Be SURE to starch your fabric well as the resulting HSTs will have four bias edges. Also, be mindful of how you are pressing your seams to avoid areas of bulk. The slotted trimmer worked great for squaring up the HSTs, and the Sew Light Fusible Adhesive was perfect for the appliques. Sewing around the edge of each applique after they are adhered to the background is worth your time and patience. Consider adding a hanging sleeve on the back.

Beautiful design with added figures

I love turquoise and it was the center color. Getting it to hang may be a challenge as it seems quite long. I extended the number of figures - one more angel in reverse, a kneeling wise man, and a shepherd back by the sheep. I have a focal point above my sofa where it will hang.

Beautiful design for a great cause

The Nativity Glow Wall Hanging turned out really nice with black silhouettes on ombre blue fabric. It is much quicker than piecing all the square together. I'm giving it to my church for live auction at our yearly Lord's Acre fundraiser.

I’d give it a minus one if I could. What is the point in selling a pattern if they are out of the templates, they don’t know when they’ll be getting more in and you can’t make the quilt without them. I thought there would at least be pictures to trace. Super disappointed

Very Disappointed

The pattern is the BACKGROUND ONLY. If you want the silhouettes you have to buy the templates for over $35, which is not clearly stated. This is the first applique wall-hanging pattern I've purchased that does not include the applique template, paper or otherwise.

Beautiful pattern - great templates

I love the pattern, the colors, and the templates. However, once I started making it, I realized that the templates were very pushed together on the actual fabric. As a newer quilter, I'm not as accurate as Misty, and I didn't think about the direction that would be best for the tree. I ended up changing the arrangement of the scene somewhat, moving the tree and eliminating the donkey. I also had Mary, Joseph, and Jesus slightly in front of the manger so they had a little more room. For my next...
