- Cut the squares, rectangles, sashing and borders from the listed fabrics. Make the flying-geese units by sewing marked squares to the opposite corners of rectangles.
- Add corner squares to selected flying-geese units and place the remaining geese beside the larger center squares. Join these rows to form the pieced blocks in the listed fabric combinations.
- Join six blocks with sashing rectangles in each of seven rows. Make six sashing rows with rectangles and small squares, then alternate them with the block rows.
- Attach the inner and outer borders. Layer the top, batting and backing, then baste, quilt and bind with the M strips.
