Papa’s Pipe Tobacco Free Quilt Pattern by Jill Reid
Papa’s Pipe Tobacco uses twenty-five Rolling Stone blocks in a 68 inch square quilt. Blue and brown prints are combined with two background fabrics, with thirteen blocks using one background and twelve using the other. Sashing and cornerstones separate the blocks, and two borders with their own corner pieces frame the center. The Dargate Prussian Blue fabrics continue through the borders and binding, while the repeated nine-inch blocks provide the main pieced structure of the quilt.
