Queen Charlotte Free Quilt Pattern by Carolyn Goins
Queen Charlotte alternates thirty twelve-inch blocks in a five-by-six arrangement, with red-centered and cream-centered versions of a traditional block variation. Small corner squares and triangles create the secondary design between blocks. Appliquéd swags and corner loops surround the patchwork, with three swags across the top and bottom and four along each side. The 72 by 84 inch quilt includes red-and-black and red-white-and-blue fabric selections from the Mr. K’s Calicos collection.
