I like Quilt as you go (QAYG) or precuts because they are fast. This pattern says it uses both!
Reading the pattern over I realized I made a mistake, by not reading ALL the info on the front of the pattern.
This pattern needs a set of templates which have an inside measurement & an outside measurement. The instructions on how to cut and sew each square is in the instructions with the templates. The specific measurements of the “inside”(5”) & “outside” (5”) are not included w/ the pattern instructions - instead you are told to follow assembly as shown with the templates. There is also some hand sewing (which I’m fine with unless in a hurry), or use a zigzag machine stitch between blocks.
( I did get 2 more patterns which I now see also need a set of templates)
I won’t be making these patterns for now - maybe after the holidays.
If I get some free time, I’ll order the templates then.
The patterns should be easy enough, but usually if a pattern needs a template it will give you the sizes of the cuts in case you don’t have the templates or can’t afford them.
