Livin' the dream! Soft and silky Quilters Dream 80/20 batting is the perfect blend of 80% cotton and 20% polyester for a beautiful drape that breathes well. The long staple cotton fiber reduces shrinkage with added stability for stitches up to 8” apart. The proprietary blended fibers are specially carded, cross-lapped, and needle-punched with no scrims, glues, or other binders to resist the needle. Hand or machine quilt with ease!

Pills and beards terribly

May work ok for machine quilting but "quilter's nightmare" for me. have been hand quilting for 35 years now and as you can imagine have used many types of batting. This stuff pills, dropping balls of lint all over my clothes each time I pick up my project. It also draws up "beards" of fluff as I bring my needle through the layers. I only hope it works over time and does not get lumpy from pilling internally. I will never buy this again.

Very soft, pliable and drapes beautifully. Its price will keep me from using it exclusively. Too soft for table runners and placemats but very good for bed quilts

Batting woes

The Joanns Store in my hometown closed so I have to order my batting now. I love the feel of this batting, but I am having problems my thread knots pulling thru the bottom layer (muslin) and thru the batting layer, ending up just under the top layer of fabric. I think the batting is a little too thin.
