Rainbow Regalia Free Quilt Pattern by Stacey Day quilt pattern summary
- Cut the squares, triangles, strips and border pieces using the fabric-specific cutting lists. Keep each lettered group together and handle bias edges carefully.
- Join two triangles and two strips for each pieced block, following the fabric-pairing chart. Align the ruler with the center seam and trim each block square.
- Alternate pieced blocks and fabric squares in the center rows, checking their orientation and nesting the seams. Join the rows and attach the inner border.
- Assemble the four pieced border sections with the diagonal seams reversed from the center. Attach the side sections, top and bottom sections, and outer borders in order.
- Join the binding strips, layer and baste the quilt, and quilt as desired. Trim the edges and finish the binding on the back.
