The Velocity 270IR’s patented built-in steam generator produces up to 55% more steam than traditional steam irons for perfect ironing in less time.

While traditional irons are prone to leaking and spitting, the Velocity irons use a patented 2-heating element and micro-pump technology that pre-heats the water and turns it into steam before it reaches the soleplate.

The Velocity 270IR iron will give you perfect constant steam at even the lowest temperatures, yet are 100% safe for all fabrics.

Efficient and easy to use

What a game-changer! This iron gives the perfect press with ease. It's great for pressing seams on individual blocks and assembled tops alike. It's so much more efficient. I don't have to keep re-pressing the same thing over and over again. Worth every penny!

Great steam performance for quilting

It gets hot and is heavy for pressing. I use it for quilt seams. The steam works great and helps a lot.

Great quality and steam output

I have hopes it won’t leak. It claimed no leakage! It puts out plenty of steam and is a very nice quality iron. I am still getting to know it but I love it so far!

Great iron!!

Love the steam and the amount of water. Really like that you can disable the automatic shut off. Great iron!!

Terrific iron!

I have had issues over the last 5 years with my iron purchases. I iron office wear for my family every morning and of course sew each day and iron during that time daily as well. I have been a long time supporter of rowenta. But was on my 6th iron in less than 5 years for the morningt ironing etc. I have a different iron now since the last 6 months strictly for sewing. In a short time though the iron ued for clothing failed regularly. I was on the hunt for a new iron and decided to try another...

Worth the money!

This is the best iron I have had. I finally convinced myself to spend some money on a good iron. I waited for a good sale and bought it. The weight of the iron is just right. The steam it puts out is amazing. There is no spray button, but with the steam you really don't need it. For stubborn creases you can use a spray bottle of water. I would highly recommend this iron.

Best Iron Ever

I love using my new iron! Will never purchase another brand!

Steam iron

This iron has great steam! It heats well and has a large water reservoir so there's less refilling. It was a great recommendation when I stopped in the shop!
