Sawtooth Star Block Free Pattern by Kerri Thomson - Free Quilt Pattern
Sawtooth Star Block surrounds a large center square with four flying-geese units and four corner squares. Kerri Thomson designed this twelve-inch finished block for the 25th Anniversary Collection, using piecing and sew-and-flip construction. The center can feature a carefully selected fabric motif, while the surrounding points use smaller squares and rectangles. An accompanying coloring page helps plan the arrangement, and the final three-row layout keeps the center, star points and background corners clearly organized.
