- Prepare the templates and cut the pieces for the selected fabric version. Piece the triangle-based X sections and add their adjacent strips and rectangles.
- Sew the diagonal strips in the specified order and join each diagonal section to an X section. Frame the individual panel pictures and arrange the blocks as illustrated.
- Check that the center is square and measure it before cutting and attaching the inner and outer borders. Layer and baste the quilt, then quilt and bind as desired.
