Seasons Shriekings Wall Hanging frames a large Skeleton Bones panel with carefully positioned raven and skull prints, followed by pieced outer borders. Stacey Day designed the intermediate project with Chain Mail fabrics by Club Hauer. Half-square triangles and flying-geese units form the outer frame, while narrow strips separate the printed border motifs. The finished wall hanging measures sixty-three by fifty-six inches, and the assembly directions keep the panel, ravens and skulls oriented consistently around the center.

Seasons Shriekings Wall Hanging Free Pattern by Stacey Day quilt pattern summary
- Fussy cut the central panel, skull squares and raven strips, keeping the motifs centered as directed. Cut the remaining border, triangle and binding pieces.
- Make eight half-square-triangle units and twenty-six flying-geese units. Join them with the corner squares to build the two pairs of outer borders.
- Frame the raven strips and combine the skull squares with the top and bottom strips. Add these printed borders around the panel, then attach the pieced outer borders.
- Join the binding strips, layer and quilt, and trim the extra layers. Attach the binding with mitered corners and hand stitch it to the back.
