Simply Jane uses a printed block panel from the Dear Jane II collection to create a 49½-by-61½-inch quilt. Designed by Whistler Studios, the project surrounds that center with a printed triangle border and shaped corner blocks. Appliqued triangle sections decorate the corners, while the outer edge follows the border's scalloped design. The scallops are cut after quilting, and bias binding finishes the curves around the completed quilt.

- Cut the printed center panel with the specified cream margin, then cut the border strips and template-shaped corner blocks. Leave the scalloped edge uncut at this stage.
- Join the borders and corner blocks around the panel. Center and applique the decorative triangle pieces onto the corners using your chosen applique method.
- Layer and quilt the top, batting and backing before cutting the scalloped edge. Join the bias binding strips and bind the curves.
