Spa Quads Free Quilt Pattern by Amy Walsh & Janine Burke
Spa Quads uses contrasting narrow strips within forty-eight pieced quadrants to create twelve Mod Quads blocks. The 60 by 80 inch quilt features the Spa collection and offers a choice of twenty-four fat quarters or twelve half yards. Its layout is deliberately random, with colors and prints arranged until their balance is pleasing. The sample uses dense water-meander quilting and neutral thread to add texture while keeping the pieced fabric combinations prominent.
