Uh oh, a spool is unraveling! Refresh and try again.
Description:

Spotted Glass alternates spotted print squares and rectangles with narrow Midnight Blue strips. Two block constructions begin with different center-square sizes and add pieces along adjoining sides in a counterclockwise sequence. Five rows of four blocks form the quilt center, separated by matching dark sashing and surrounded by a wider border. The intermediate design finishes at 58½ inches by 72 inches, with Sunrise fabric used again in the binding.

  1. Cut and label the squares, rectangles, sashing, borders and binding. Starting with the smaller center squares, add narrow Midnight Blue strips and print rectangles in the specified counterclockwise sequence to make Block 1.
  2. Build Block 2 around the larger squares using the same sequence, following the two specified fabric combinations. Check all block orientations against the quilt layout.
  3. Join four blocks per row with Midnight Blue sashing, then join the five rows and add the outer border. Layer, baste and quilt as desired, and bind with Fabric C.
