Spread Kindness is a beginner quilt designed by Wendy Sheppard with the Shine On collection. Rectangles cut to center the printed designs alternate with coordinating rectangles, creating four rows separated by narrow sashing. Two inner borders and a wider outer border surround the center. The finished quilt measures 51 by 55 inches. Its cutting chart identifies the fabric needed for each section, and the assembly diagram shows the placement of the individual printed rectangles.

Spread Kindness Free Quilt Pattern by Wendy Sheppard quilt pattern summary
- Cut the printed rectangles, centering the designs, and prepare the coordinating rectangles, sashing, borders and binding.
- Arrange and sew the rectangles with vertical sashing to make four rows. Join the rows with the horizontal sashing strips.
- Add the two inner borders and the outer border in order, sewing the sides before the top and bottom.
- Layer the quilt top with batting and backing, baste and quilt as desired. Bind with the F strips.
