Sunbonnet Sue Free Quilt Pattern by Barbara Campbell
Sunbonnet Sue alternates printed Sue blocks with two versions of a nine-patch block. Barbara Campbell’s beginner project finishes at 42 inches square and includes blue and red fabric choices for the same layout. Optional fused dresses and bonnets add fabric accents to the printed figures, with embroidery offered as an additional embellishment. Three borders frame the assembled center, and the instructions conclude with layering, quilting and binding.
