Can’t sew without it!

My first Purple Thang is on the loose somewhere in my sewing room. I keep waiting for it to reappear…..but I decided I really need this handy little tool for a variety of things while sewing. Mostly for holding down little fabric pieces about to go through my machine. It’s a great little tool!

Best thing I didn’t know I needed!!

This is the Thang! I have been using everything but the right thing. You really need this to poke out the corners, to straighten the edges and do everything else it does. Just get it!

Love that purple thang

I use this while doing machine embroidery. It’s ideal to smooth fabric while stitching. I use it as a guide while sewing, especially at areas of crossing other stitch lines. It has saved my nails and fingers several times. I had to replace my original as it got speared by the machine needle leaving a ragged hole which n added on batting and some fabrics but it wasn’t my finger that got speared!

Poke round

This is wonderful when sewing bowl cozies

Once you see the inside and outside you turn back to the correct fabric.

I use this tool to round out the side peaks

PLUS there's a small oval cut out. I put elastic in the oval and pull the elastic through the casing
