Excited for my quilt project

I'm using it for a quilt for one of my sisters. I will use the rail fence with a variation. I will make half square triangles and rearrange the squares. I'm probably not explaining this just right, but I hope you can understand what I mean. I will make the rail fence squares, cut in half diagonally, then mix them up and sew together again. I haven't decided whether I will add a strip between the two halves yet.
