- Choose the Orange Pekoe or Chamomile colorway and cut the labeled pieces in order. Plan the directional prints before cutting, then organize the pieces for Rows A, B, and C.
- Piece two Row A sections, two Row B sections, and one Row C. Label each completed row and check print direction before joining the layout.
- Join the sashing strips and assemble the five rows with sashing between them, reversing the right-hand A and B rows as shown. Add the three border rounds in sequence.
- Prepare the backing and batting, mark and baste the layers, and test the quilting stitches on a practice sandwich. Quilt from the center outward, then attach and hand-finish the binding.
