Vintage Sewing Machine Building Block Set

I had my husband put this together for me since it was quite challenging for me!

I ordered this very cute building block sewing machine knowing full well that it was not a Lego brand and probably would not be Lego quality. It sure isn't. It's very difficult to put together--the pieces don't fit well and snap into place like they should. As other reviewers have mentioned, there are no written directions; you have to scan the QR code to get them. The bags holding the pieces are not numbered, and the pieces you need for each step are in multiple different bags. I finally got...

If it was it would be rock solid and functional. You can't make gears mesh and have it stay together. With 30 years experience with building LEGOs I expected better. Going on a shelf because its too fragile. Cute but disappointing.

It's cute. I bought to keep my grandson busy for a while during his visit here. He likes to have projects. Because I didn't put it together myself, I can't say if it easy or hard to put together.

Had to go online to get instructions which were Pictures only . Was labor intensive to assemble (took hours) and it’s not strong enough to stay together unless you put it somewhere it will never be touched (fragile) . Assembly was also difficult because it kept falling apart and doesn’t fit like the legos I know. I would only buy this if it is on sale and no I would not buy again or recommend this product

Here is the finished product. Looks cool, but GREAT. HONK. Never been so frustrated with a building set. Improper instructions, ill-fitting pieces… I had to raid my kids’ old Lego stash to put it together properly. About halfway through, I was really wishing I had The Kragl. 😂 Doubt I’ll be buying any more off-brand Lego kits. But at least I got it on sale… 🤷🏻‍♀️

Love the sewing Machine, but directions were printed in Chinese. Followed the video, but had to stop to find particular pieces and match to the picture, then had to start video over again and advance to step I was on. Not the easiest!

I loved it, it was fun to put together. And it moved when you turned the wheel

It's very cute, that being said, it falls apart very easily. I couldn't believe how long it took and I have built many Lego sets over the years. I was given a wrong piece and had to drill out a circle from the "+" whole in the part. In the end I didn't have any leftover parts and I'm happy with the finished product. Now to find a place out of reach of my grandchildren!

Not all of us , especially seniors, are tech savy. IncludIng written instructions would have been greatly appreciated and would have earned that 5th star.
