Jean Katherine Smith's 60-by-78-inch quilt includes a wide printed border, a narrow green frame, a red-and-gold checkered border, and a blue outer border. The checkered sections are made from strip sets, while the central pictures are cut from two panels. A placement guide accompanies the cutting, border assembly, quilting, and binding directions.
