not color fast

Purchased the Wilmington Essentials Dry Brush Charcoal for a backing for a recent quilt. Did not wash first as the precuts I used in quilt were not prewashed. BIG MISTAKE! Was not colorfast and basically ruined the whites and yellows in the quilt. If buying any of this material in dark colors, please wash first!
