Wilmington Essentials - Glass Beads 5 Karat Gems

Ordered 2 packs of these, as well as white and blue coordinating yardage for a simple, fun lap quilt. This is lovely fabric to work with, very little fraying, presses nicely and looks sharp. There were 3 partial pieces within the 5" packs that were obviously manufacturing miss cuts, but still received the full 42 piece packs. Pictures of the top attached, not quilted yet.

I paired this stack with a solid white charm pack for my first foray into the land of Half Square triangles. I stopped at just this prismatic table runner / wall hanging, but I still have an entire stack of HSTs waiting to be laid out into something gorgeous.

I have had my eye on this fabric since I started shopping at MSQC. Beautiful bright colors.

I have so many ideas of how to use these Gems! A beautiful throw, a baby blanket or play mat, a mini quilt wall hanging. Cannot wait to get started.

Loved them! I made a jelly roll rug a couple of years ago - it’s in our daughter’s third grade classroom, next to her reading chair. I paired the charm pack with an ombré jelly roll for a JRR 2.0. LOVE it!!

Love the color combinations.

Love the quality of the fabric. So many beautiful colors. I used the charm pack plus jelly rolls as my main colors for the Chandlier quilt project with the Kona Cotton White jelly roll and yardage as my background choice. Turned out great.

Liked the selection except the black background did not suit my project for baby quilt . Switched them out for a solids 5’ I had previously purchased.
