Wilmington Essentials - Glass Beads Blue 108" Wide Backing

I used this fabric for the backing on a quilt for my daughter. I used a layer cake of the same fabric for the top. The fabric is lovely and I was happy with the finished quilt. My daughter washed the quilt in cold water with two colour catchers. The dye in the blue backing ran. She immediately ran it through the washer two more times, using cold water and four colour catchers each time. All of the colour catchers turned blue. I am attaching a picture of the quilt before and after washing....

I'm going to be ready soon to finish my quilt. I love the rich colors.

I made a quilt with a jelly roll of the Glass Beads fabric and choose the blue fabric for the backing and binding, Very pleased how it turned out.

I am very pleased with this backing fabric. I love the feel of it, so soft. It makes the quilt very cuddly.

Not bright at all, kind of dull in color.

This "just goes" with so many quilt tops I have made. It is a solid, very well made fabric I loved so much I wrapped it around and used it as the border material as well as the backing for my first ever string quilt.

Great for a children's quilt. The cotton is soft and the colors vibrant without being overpowering.
