Woven Dargate Ribbons Free Quilt Pattern by Susan McDermott
Woven Dargate Ribbons combines pieced blocks with an appliqued ribbon-and-bird border in a 68-inch square quilt. Susan McDermott uses the Dargate Ribbons collection by Margo Krager, with thirteen pink-centered blocks and twelve blue-centered blocks. Short pink sashing strips and brown cornerstones join the blocks into five rows. A long bias ribbon winds through the border, accompanied by bird appliques with chain-stitched feet, before the quilt is layered, quilted and bound.
