Zippers Warm Free Quilt Pattern by Stacey Day
Zippers Warm combines fat-quarter prints with narrow contrasting bands in a repeating strip arrangement. Each fat quarter receives strips at both ends before being subcut into smaller units. Those units are ordered in opposite directions to create two block versions, then paired and alternated across the quilt. Stacey Day designed this advanced-beginner project with the Kaffe Fassett Collective February 2025 collection. The finished quilt measures 60 by 80 1/2 inches, with binding made from the same contrasting fabric.
