These ingenious, clear templates are so easy to cut around and completely rotary-cutter friendly, but the real magic is in the 2-piece design that allows you to easily position the backing, batting, and the top fabric right smack in the center! Say goodbye to shifting and inaccurate binding forever. Each of the six sides of this hexagon ends up with a perfect little mitered corner. Wonderful tool!

These are fabulous!! I love all the things that you can do with this template. Small children can learn to do the hexagons- they make great holiday gifts! These are very forgiving and really look nice even if you don’t get each one perfect. Great project for young and old. If you’ve never made a quilt- you should try out this template and make one. It’s really so easy and beginner friendly!

TURKISH COURTYARD

I absolutely LOVE THIS TEMPLATE. I have always wanted to make or own a hexagon quilt, This template made it sew easy to accomplish AND MAKE MY OWN. This attached picture is of the quilt not yet finished. I'm calling it Turkish Courtyard. Is that a good name?

Great Hand Sewing Project

I have gifted this template set to my mom, a sister in law and a niece who all wanted to have a portable, hand sewing project. They have all loved it and are constantly sewing while on the go or sitting waiting at appointments or kids’ ball practices.

Great group project!

Our church recently hosted a ladies quilt as you go day. We all enjoyed working together and learning this fantastic pattern! We had elementary age up to senior citizens. Beginners to experienced sewers. At least half had never made a quilt before. Thank you to Daisy and Grace and Missouri Star for this wonderful template and pattern! I had fun with it especially since it let me think about the new great-granddaughter using it. Yep, #8, and I think she will enjoy it as a blanket or to lay on the floor. I used flannels that I also purchased with you.

I am crazy for the Hexie

While watching the MSQC video on the use of this template and Jenny said they can be sewn by MACHINE I jumped on the website and ordered the template immediately. Started out by making candle mats before going to a bigger project. What a great tool. I love it. It's fun and easy to use.

Clever Design

This is such a clever design. It makes it so easy to create a perfect hexagon shape. I'm still working on the quilt pieces that I had in mind, but I threw together a hexagon in Christmas print for practice. I discovered it is the perfect size for a coaster. Next thing I knew, I had Christmas gifts made.
