FANTASTIC! LOVE IT!

Great instructions. Very complete, easy to understand, well written, and very complete. I injured my right upper arm and shoulder several years ago and just the act of setting my old iron up was painful. Being able to just let go really helps. So thankful that this iron does not spit all over when I want to use the steam feature.

Not worth the money

I purchased the 1600 Pro plus 3 years ago. In Feb of this year it stopped working, wouldn't heat at all. I moved the following week and once unpacked, tried the iron again and still not working. I contacted Missouri Star to see when I had purchased the iron. It was then 3 years and 2 weeks since purchased. I contacted Oliso and explained the iron had stopped working in Feb while still under warranty yet they would not do anything. I've never had an iron stop working after only 3 years and never...

Ironing life

Who ever heard of an iron improving a quality of life? Quilting with two rotator cuff tears has been uncomfortable at times. This iron increased the time I am able to quilt and improved my quality of life after quilting day with less aching.

getting used to new iron

Very expensive. Loved my old Rowenta, but the water reservoir is leaking. All new Rowenta's have an auto shutoff after 8 minutes. 8 minutes!!! So I decided to try the Oliso. It glides nicely. Not sure if I understand the steam settings. Not sure if I understood about turning it off. Not sure if I want to dump the water out every time I turn it off and pull the plug, as sometimes I come back to sew later in the day. And I sew almost every day. The easy fill on the reservoir is a delight. Will...

Seems to work well so far

The iron seems to work well so far. The only thing that I don’t like about it is that the dial is gray and it makes it very difficult to see the heat setting on the dial. There was much more contrast on the old one which had a white dial. Higher contrast is always more important than “style”. Also, I know that they are in style now but I don’t know why it has to have an insect on it. If I could peel it off, I would. Thank you.

New Oliso Iron

Looks large due to extended stand but it is heavier than my old black-n-decker iron. I like the revolving cord but requires unplugging at night to turn off red light. Wish it had front lights like the small portable oliso iron.

Pricey

There are several features I like about this iron. 1. Easy to fill water tank 2. Long cord 3. Auto off 4. Good steam What I don't like 1. Sometimes it gets confused and the "Legs lock in place", I have to unplug and then plug back in to reset the iron. Overall. I like the iron...not sure it is worth the price. I probably would not purchase again...

Sadly not impressed

I am so disappointed since I waiting so long and I so I I looked forward to buying this iron. The long non- retractable cord is bothersome to store, the emptying of the water tank is horrendous design - too soon after ironing you will get scolded and the entire iron gets wet while doing it. Not as weighted as I thought. Auto lift is nice but still gets surface very hot -

Love my new iron, even though it is a bite heavy for me. I wish they made this style a little smaller and lighter. Karen
