mixed feelings

I was so excited to receive the rotating cutting mat. The rotation is so smooth! I don't have to manipulate it the way I do my other ones. It's raised a bit like a "lazy susan", so the turn is not choppy or difficult. However, what I've discovered this means is that when I am cutting a block, I have one more thing I need to secure. I have found that if I am not holding the disc still, it will turn when I apply pressure to cut the fabric. Since I scored this while it was on sale, I'll continue...

Around I Go!

I love rotating cutting mats! I am not so sure about this one as I find the cutting surface sticky. My fabric lays well but the rotary cutter sticks and does not allow for smooth cuts. I usually have to go over it a couple of times. I changed the blade in the cutte so I don't think that's it. I would not buy this again and not happy I paid what I did even on sale.

Not sure

I like the rotating feature and size. I had multiple heart shapes to cut and found that I was tightening my hold on the fabric because the mat moved and I felt it was unstable. I ended up with arm and wrist discomfort. Not sure if I was using proper technique as there were no directions.

Missing numbers one Lines

This would have been a 5 star mat if it had measurement numbers on the gridlines. Nice mat, turns very easily and has ball bearings so it is smooth and easy to turn.
