If you’re like Jenny Doan, you’re always sewing handmade projects for family and friends—and thread can get expensive! Here at MSQC, we’ve got high quality thread at a price you’ll love. Keep on stitching and enjoy creating beautiful quilts that will last, without costing you an arm and a leg.

Create long-lasting memories with Missouri Star 50wt Double Mercerized Egyptian Cotton Thread made especially for use in both machine and hand quilting. This quality thread is double Mercerized to increase its strength and luster, which also allows the thread to absorb more color, infusing it with bright, colorfast dye that will last. Use it to quilt and sew a variety of fabrics. This versatile thread runs smoothly through your machine with a minimal amount of lint and it can withstand the rigors of washing, high temperature ironing, detergents, and mild abrasives. Let your projects shine in the sunlight without fear, it has excellent sunlight resistance too! Your memories are precious, so trust them to high quality thread at an excellent price.

    Missouri Star 50 WT Thread

The one thing I have learned in my two decades of quilting is that in order to be successful you must have good tools, and that is how I look at thread. It is a tool and if you are constantly fighting with it then you will not enjoy sewing. I have been a steadfast Mettler Thread user, it was the one thread that I found to be consistent and my sewing machine gave me no issues, so when I received my first spool of Missouri Star Thread I was very excited to see that my sewing machine had no issues with this wonderful product. I love the many colors and I am slowly building up my Thread stash with Missouri Star Thread. I do a lot of top stitching and I like to blend my thread with my fabric so I use many different colors, so to be able to have another source for colors is so awesome and I know that I will always find the shade.
