Perfect backing for a quilt

I needed a neutral type backing for my daughter's quilt, and it was perfect. I'm using it for a Hunter's star pattern, a pattern I bought from MSQC. She loves it and the fabric is so thick and soft, but it isn't completely finished yet.

Perfect backing for my quilt

I needed backing for a quilt that I just finished, and this looks nice, so I ordered it. It will look great on this quilt! This quilt is called the lattice quilt. It has all kinds of colors in it and put together with a cream colored fabric. The quilt measures 92 x 110. I am taking it to a friend that has a long arm machine today. It is a huge quilt, and I am planning on using it for a bedspread. I can’t wait to see it when it gets quilted.

The pale cream backing will go with any pattern and color for the front. I prefer to use the 108” backing rather than the less wide fabric where I have to sew a seam down the middle and press the backing.

Versatile and beautiful backing fabric

The light color of the stars makes it easy to use with many different fabrics. I use it for a quilt top I already have made. It is a flower fabric with a lot of tones of yellow which will work well with this backing.
