Smooth cutter

I love the ball bearing action in this cutter. At first I thought it didn't make much difference, but then I pucked up my older cutter and compaired, well, the differance is quite noticable. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is the shape. I know this shape is universal for left and right hand users, bit I have arthritis in my thumbs and moving the guard up and down for each cut gets to be painful and I will not leave a blade exposed. There is an 'ergonomic' style that is much easier to use...

I absolutely love this rotary cutter. Makes a very clean cut every time! I have severe arthritis in my hands and have had my thumb fused. The cutter makes it easier to cut anything. I love it so much I am ordering a second one. I wish it was also available in the 60mm, when I cut a lot of yardage at a time.

What can I say? Did I really need another Rotary Cutter - no! I have 3 already BUT the urge was there and all the other quilters said it was the best because of the "ball bearings". Best cutter ever!!!!!

Easily the best rotary cutter I have ever used. I have carpal tunnel and an cut without any pain in the wrist . I t just smoothly rolls across the fabric. So smoothly. I also like it takes the universal blades as well .highly recommend for anyone with arthritis as well there is no straining cutting.

OK for trimming but not for Stripology Rulers

Because the blade guard moves back, rather than up, it is hard to use in a Stripology ruler. In order to use in a Stripology ruler, I have to move my wrist into an unnatural position. This is not something I would have thought about before purchasing the cutter, as all of my other cutters, the blade guard moves up. The cutter works fine for trimming, but I use my Stripology rulers too much for this cutter to be my main cutter. I'll put it in my retreat box where I tend to do only trimming and...

Awesome Rotary Cutter

I’ve been using rotary cutters for as long as I can remember (and that’s a very long time). This is by far the best one I have ever owned. I can cut easily through 8 layers of quilting cotton fabric with excellent accuracy. No jagged edges. No more having to recut. No drag. And a lot less fatigue in my hand and arm. Please make a 60 degree version for heavier fabrics. I will certainly buy one.

I LOVE the new rotary cutter. Have cut out 3 quilts since it arrived. Very easy to use (once you get used to holding it a little differently than the one I had ben using). Cuts fabric like butter and your hand/wrist does not get tired. I took it to my guild's sit 'n sew and let others try it. Everyone ordered one while we were there-literally everyone in the room!
