I love being able to put my blocks on the wall and see how it looks before sewing.

It’s a nice size and the printed grid is very helpful. I used command hooks to hang it on a bedroom wall. It gripped well even with the ceiling fan on. I’m sewing them together for a quilt.

Good for layout, but has limitations

I use it for hanging quilt pieces to view layout before sewing. The flannel grip works better than expected but not as well as I’d hoped. I keep reattaching. It varies depending on how well the piece ‘sticks’ and how many I need to adjust. I also wish the rivets were in the opposite direction. When securing to the wall, the length of the quilt pattern needs to be vertical. To do this, the rivets are along the side instead of across the top.

Love this quilt wall!

This wall hangs behind me while I’m sewing. It’s large enough to lay out a large quilt and the fabric sticks to it without needing pins.

Awesome Quilt Wall

Since I accidentally used my last one as batting, I was in need of a new one and I didn’t realize how valuable the new one would be until I recently used it. First of all, because of the color and design, it won’t be confused with batting. Second, I loved how you could hang it. With the grommets, there’s no pulling away. Third, with the grid lines, it’s easier to use. Fourth, the fabric adheres to it much better.

Great for teaching quilting

I like it for use in my teaching space. Students can put their pieces up without pins so they can stand back to look at it from a distance. It lets them look at it as a whole quilt without crawling around on the floor to lay it out. It is about 6’ long and 5’ wide.

The quilt wall hangs nicely in a hallway that is used quite regularly. The blocks in the photo have held up for weeks.

I actually put it on top of the white one I purchased from MSQ. I love the blue. The graph marks and grommets are great. A design wall is a great tool. You should have one.

What would I do without it?

I absolutely love my quilt wall. I put it up with command hooks and it has served me well in designing quilts, especially since I do a lot of scrappy ones.

Great for organizing quilt designs

It is well made and a good size to design on. I'm laying out rows of hexagons and the grid helps to maintain order.

Great design space and color distribution

It's so good to have design space to view quilt tops as I'm making the design. It has a size of 90-100 inches square. I verify the block colors distribution is satisfying.
